As a homeschooling mother of four, author of over a dozen books, and the founder of both Vintage Remedies and J&M Botanicals, I definitely have my hands full. As many of you know, running a business, writing a blog, and mothering are not walks in the park. There are days when I’d rather do nothing but stay in my bed and hide from the world. Those are the times when I am so grateful to know my purpose and the vision I’ve been given, and to be surrounded by friends and family that support that vision. That’s why I consider events like The Allume Social Media Conference to be so important and valuable. It’s a chance for us at Vintage Remedies to reach out, encourage, and support other women on their journeys, both personally and professionally. As big fans of Allume and their mission, we are excited to show you what we have to offer at Vintage Remedies and J&M Botanicals this weekend. Stop by our booth to learn more about the various ways you can make money on your blog through some of our amazing programs, and just for stopping by, you can enter to win a free Kindle Fire HD and will receive a luxurious treat to pamper yourself throughout the conference! See you soon!

Vintage Remedies was founded in 2005 by health professional and author, Jessie Hawkins. Our mission is to fill the gap in natural wellness education options. By providing distance learning education in natural wellness, we stand squarely in the middle of the medicine wars, believing that prevention is the key to health and that natural options are usually the best first steps to regain wellness. We seek to empower mothers, wives and parents across the globe that strive for excellence in their calling. Our basic programs are designed to enable individuals everywhere to relearn the basic techniques and skills that were so commonplace decades ago.
Our school is distinctively Christian based; we welcome students of all religious backgrounds and have a very diverse student body. Our staff comes from a variety of denominational backgrounds, and we do not participate in divisive debates, rather we enjoy sharing what we have in common and our programs are written from that perspective.
